If you're a MacBook user and looking for that extra space when developing outside of the office then you'll be thrilled to find out that there's an app that lets you extend your workspace onto your iPad, behaving exactly like a standard Thunderbolt Display.

  1. Download the Duet app installer
    http://www.duetdisplay.com
    This will require a reboot.
  2. Purchase the Duet app on your iPad
    https://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/duet-display/id935754064
  3. Connect your iPad to your MacBook
Your iPad should now act as a second diplay
  4. Adjust screens arrangement from Displays preferences
In the same way you would with a standard Apple Thunderbolt display.
